Did you know that Albanian is one of Europe’s oldest languages, with roots dating back thousands of years. It is spoken in Albania, Kosovo, and by communities around the world, and it has its own unique 36-letter alphabet.

In this course, you’ll learn the basics of the Albanian language in an easy and interactive way. We’ll practice the alphabet, build simple sentences, and use the language in everyday situations. You will also get to know Albanian culture, including traditions, hospitality, food, and daily life.

The course has no textbook and it focuses on communication and cultural understanding. Topics include introductions, greetings, family, describing people, shopping, food, and occupations.

Ready to take your Albanian further? This course continues from A2.2 and helps you move toward a confident B1 level, where you can communicate more naturally in everyday situations.

You will learn to talk about past experiences, plans, and opinions, while improving your fluency through topics like travel, daily life, media, health, and services.

The course also introduces culture and traditions from Albanian-speaking regions, helping you understand the language in its real-life context.

We use Discovering Albanian by Linda Mëniku and Hector Campos, together with interactive speaking activities and practical exercises.

By the end of the course, you will feel more confident speaking, understanding, and expressing yourself in Albanian.
