At Kalliola, everyone is welcome. You can participate in many courses in English or bilingual (Finnish-English) courses even if you don’t yet speak Finnish. This makes it easy to start learning, make friends and become part of the local community.
Finnish Courses for Everyday Life in Finland
Learning Finnish opens doors to everyday life, work and studies. Kalliola offers Finnish courses in Helsinki designed especially for people with different language backgrounds and learning goals.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already know some Finnish, our courses help you improve your language skills in a practical and supportive environment. You will learn useful vocabulary and communication skills that you can use in everyday situations while getting to know Finnish culture and society. Studying Finnish together with others also helps build confidence and creates meaningful social connections.
Courses in English Make Learning Accessible
If you’re not yet comfortable studying in Finnish, Kalliola offers a wide range of courses in English and bilingual courses across many subjects. Courses taught entirely in English require no Finnish language skills. Bilingual courses combine Finnish and English, allowing you to gradually become familiar with Finnish while participating actively from the beginning.
